MS & HS Winter Advances

Each January the MS students head over to Michindoh Conference Center in Hillsdale for their Winter Advance. This weekend is a great time for the students to come together to be challenged by God's Word. Of course, there is a time for recreation which includes making smores, playing in the gym and using the climbing wall. And, if the weather permits, there is also time for playing in the snow and tubing.

In February the HS students head up to Lake Ann Baptist camp near Traverse City. The students have a great time tubing, playing football in the snow, having a coloring contest (even the guys get into it!!) as well as getting to know other members of the youth group better. The students also spend time in praise and worship and in group Bible study sessions as well as individual quiet times which are set aside specifically to help them evaluate and improve their walk with Christ.
